Celebrating World Environment Day 2017
Sustainability Initiatives in association with VK:a architecture, VK:e environmental, VK:i interiors, VK:u urban, FSAI celebrated World Environment Day on the 5th of June 2017. An activity was planned for the day, on the lines of Create, Contribute and Participate. Sustainability Initiatives had organized the Poster Design Competition activity where all employees of VK:a architecture, VK:e environmental, VK:i interiors, VK:u urban, FSAI were divided into 14 teams.
The theme of the competition was- Ideas for a better environment through:
1. Pune Waste Management
2. River Regeneration – Pune
3. Use of Natural Energy
4. Fire Hazards at Workplace
The posters were required to carry some text or a slogan as well as a small note explaining the concept or idea.
The posters of three winners are distributed and displayed at various schools and government organizations.
