“Conceptual Riverfront Design Competition for Pune RiverFront”
Jeevitnadi-Living River Foundation in association with Sustainability Initiatives, Pune oraganised a ‘Conceptual Design Competition for Pune Riverfront’. It was one of the activities planned for ‘Muthai 2016’ a weeklong event which was organised to celebrate ‘ India River Day’ which was on 28th November.
We had invited students of architecture and planning to give design solutions to these vibrant and ecologically sensitive banks of the river, to give conceptual design solutions to Re-establish this connect between the ‘communities and river’, ‘bio-diversity and river’, ‘history, culture and heritage with the river.’ Let’s help river, revive its ecological functions and make our rivers – ‘Jeevitnadi’ a Living River!
