“Draw your roads” activity at Delhi Public School
Delhi Public School very enthusiastically participated in collecting the responses on the citizen survey for the Urban Street Design Guidelines. Everyone from the students, teachers and the staff members helped push this survey across the students’ parents and contributed to the very good response received to this activity.
Along with the survey, students were also involved through a drawing activity. In this activity, the students were asked to draw anything that remember from the roads they use everyday. The insights of the children were very interesting. Along with signals, potholes and pollution, children also noticed the the inconvenience on roads due to frequent repair works, absence of footpaths, non-working signals among other things.
Some of the drawing are shared in the photo gallery.
