As part of the PEHEL-2026 E-Waste & Plastic Waste Awareness and Collection Mega Drive, Sustainability Initiatives proudly contributed e-waste collection efforts on 5th March 2026 at the VKDPL Office, supporting responsible recycling and sustainable waste management practices.

The initiative aimed to spread awareness about the environmental hazards caused by improper disposal of electronic and plastic waste while encouraging individuals and organizations to adopt responsible disposal and recycling practices.

The drive witnessed the collection of electronic waste including computers, keyboards, monitors, wires, and accessories, promoting responsible e-waste recycling and efficient resource recovery. The initiative also helped generate awareness about the environmental and health risks associated with unmanaged electronic waste while encouraging sustainable disposal practices among participants. Through collaborative community participation, the drive contributed towards reducing landfill waste, preventing toxic pollution, and strengthening collective action for a cleaner and greener environment.
