New kitchen shed & store room for the flood affected schools.

When floods disrupted lives in Solapur, VK Group, Pune, through its CSR fund, stepped forward with Sustainability Initiatives to support flood-affected Zilla Parishad schools .

New kitchen shed & store room constructed at the Zilla Parishad School in Hattur, the kitchen shed had been completely damaged due to heavy rainfall. A new kitchen shed along with a store room was constructed to restore essential school infrastructure.

The successful implementation of these projects was enabled by a collective appeal made to the employees of VK Group, who responded with enthusiasm and generosity. Employees came together to contribute funds in support of the initiative, reflecting a strong sense of social responsibility. Their contributions, complemented by CSR funds, played a crucial role in bringing these need-based interventions to life demonstrating the true impact of collective effort and shared commitment towards community welfare.

Inaugurated on Republic Day, this initiative reflects the power of need-based action, employee contribution, and community collaboration ensuring safer learning spaces for students.
