FY 2025–2026, Sustainability Initiatives, together with VK Group, implemented a meaningful sanitation and safety infrastructure CSR project at Sadhana Village. A community that supports persons with psychosocial disabilities, orphaned children, and elderly residents.

The intervention addressed urgent sanitation challenges caused by wastewater leakage, a damaged septic system, and groundwater contamination risks. By introducing durable and sustainable infrastructure solutions, the project strengthened hygiene, environmental safety, and overall living conditions for vulnerable residents.

The initiative included the installation of a 10,000-liter FRP septic tank with a three-chamber system, a 27.3-meter drainage pipeline network, construction and repair of 4 inspection chambers, and the development of a 574 running feet long precast RCC compound wall for enhanced safety and infrastructure resilience.

To ensure long-term sustainability, microbial treatment solutions were integrated to improve waste decomposition and reduce sludge accumulation. The project directly benefited around 75 individuals, significantly improving sanitation management while reducing environmental and public health risks associated with untreated wastewater.

This intervention reflects how responsible CSR initiatives can create lasting social and environmental impact by strengthening essential infrastructure and improving the dignity, safety, and well-being of vulnerable communities.
