Book launches in 2017 have made this year truly memorable for Sustainability Initiatives. Saturday evening (23rd December 2017) at SI (Sustainability Initiatives) office, SI team along with VK:e environmental had the privilege of hosting Dr. Prasad Modak of Environmental Management Centre to celebrate the launch of the book Environmental Management towards Sustainability, authored by him.

Apart from this technical book, Dr Modak gave the audience glimpses of his two forth coming books that are compilations of his Blog posts.

The evening saw Dr. Modak narrating 2-3 of his blogs and regaling everyone with interesting anecdotes from his years of advising governments on Sustainability.

It was a nice interaction with some of the stalwarts of Sustainability like Ar. Hrishikesh Kulkarni, Ar. Poorva Keskar, Ar. Anagha Paranjape -Purohir, Mrs. Apoorva Kulkarni of Sustainability Initiatives, Pramod Chaudhary of Praj, Rajendra Shende of UNEP, Anand Chinchalkar of World Bank, Rahul Datar expert in Environmental Management, Prashant Shah of R Cube, Sudhir Chavan, Neeta Chalke and Kirtee Shah of INHAF and many other illustrious guests.
