The Earth Day is celebrated every year on 22^nd April, which marks the anniversary of the birth of the modern environmental movement in 1970.

As Saturday (22^nd April) is weekly off, We celebrated this year’s Earth Day on 21^st April, Friday at VK:a architecture, VK:e environmental, VK:i interiors, VK:u urban offices.

As a contribution to such awareness, Sustainability initiatives had organized the Earth Hour activity where, all employees of VK:a architecture, VK:e environmental, VK:i interiors, VK:u urban were asked to switch off Lights, Fans, AC, Mobile Charger, Printers, Plotters and any other electronic gadgets including the coffee machines in the office and we also shut the Elevators from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM. To celebrate the EARTH HOUR!

Pleased to inform that everyone participated enthusiastically.

More over, based on the fantastic feedback from the activity Sustainability initiatives has taken a pledge today on this Earth day that we will contribute by completing 12 Earth hours, 1 hour every 3rd Friday of the month starting today till March 2018.
