Sustainability Initiatives along with VK:a architecture, VK:e environmental, VK:i interiors and VK:u urban employees observe Earth Hour on the third friday of every month where all fans, lights, ACs and lifts are shut for one hour from 10.00 am to 11.00 am.
Earth Hour is a worldwide movement organized by the World Wide Fund for Nature (WWF) where individuals, communities, and businesses are encouraged to turn off non-essential electric lights for one hour on a specific day every year in March. SI has taken it one step further by observing Earth Hour once every month.
