Sustainability Initiatives organised Ex – Country Training on Green and Energy Efficient Construction Technologies for Ministry of works and Human Settlement, Royal Govt. Of Bhutan.The training organised on 9 May to 11 May 2016.

Participants were benefited by experts including, Ar. Poorva Keskar, Ar. Anagha Paranjape–Purohit, Ar. Kanchan Sidhaye, Ar. Ketaki Rairikar-Karmarkar and Mr. Aniket Bandale. Introduction and relevance of Green Rating Systems, Site planning, Water and Waste management, Green Building Materials, Passive Design and Planning, Thermal comfort & IAQ, Energy Conservation were the key topics covered in the Training Sessions. A few exercises and an examination was also conducted at the end of the training along with an interactive session. SI also organized a one day site visit to Green Building site under construction at “Puneville” – a Residential project by Benckmarrk Realty Pvt. Ltd (Pharande Spaces) at Punawale, Pune.
