Rostrum India Social Organization and Sustainability Initiatives Pune inaugurated the library at Auj M Gram Panchayat Taluka South Solapur in association with Maha NGO Federation.
This library’s proposal was presented by Mr. Amol Pundalik Umbarje to RISO last month. The proposal was sent for everyone to use this library from the children of our village to the elderly. After approving this proposal, 400 books were gifted to the building of the library. This includes religious, spiritual, agriculture, competitive exams, novels, literature, entertainment, stories etc.
Earlier, their grandparents used to tell different things to the children of the village. Moral, cultured, spiritual and many brave things were told. But over time these things almost disappeared. The relationship with books is becoming rare due to online education for these children / youth. Books are the root of our culture, culture, life. This well-equipped library is once again giving the opportunity to be friends with books to the residents of Auj. Once again, the children will get to hear stories from their grandparents and help the cultured generation get together.
The library was inaugurated by Shri Mangleshwar Umbarje. At this time Shri Amol Umbarje, Deputy Sarpanch Shri Arvind Sir Umbarje, Shri Ajinkya Umbarje, Shri Nilappa Umbarje, Gramsevak Shri S K K Kazi, Shri Kantu Banye, Police Patil Shri Nagnath Umbarje etc were present.
