State-level environmental film festival organised under the initiative of Majhi Vasundhara of environment Department, Govt. of Maharashtra at Balasaheb kaladalan, Swargate, Pune on 12th January 2021. The festival featured short films on various Environmental topics like Sanitation, waste segregation, Urban forestry, Biodiversity, river and lake restoration. The film festival was jointly organized by My Earth Foundation, Sustainability Initiatives, Pune Municipal Corporation, Environment Club of India and Dhyas Pratishthan.
Mr Meghraje Bhosale, President, Akhil Bhartiya Marathi Chitrapat Mahamandal and Mr Nitin Supekar, Author and Director were invited as chief guest during the festival. Eminent Personalities like Mr Mangesh Dighe- Environmental Officer PMC, Mr Suresh Kote, Director, Lijjat papad, Mr Dattatraya Dewale, ECI, Mr Nitin Shinde, Dy.RO, MPCB Pune, Mr Virendra Chitrav- Kirloskar Vasundhara Short Film, Mr Amit Wadekar- Secretory, Vanrai, Mr Amol Umbarje- Sustainability Initiatives Pune, Mr Anant Gharat- My Earth Foundation, Mr Somnath Patil- Dhyas Pratisthan, Mr Lalit Rathi were also present during the short film festival.
