With great offices comes great responsibility!
At Sustainability Initiatives office, we tend to generate a sufficient amount of e-waste owing to the devices and gadgets we require in our office. We ensure the timely repair of electronic devices to increase their usability life. However, once they completely run out of function, we discard them and donate them as e-waste (i.e. LCD screens / TVs, keyboards, mouse, adapters, power cables, CPUs, telephones, graphic cards, ram etc) to get it recycled.

This is the 2nd drive in the year 2022, where we donated 54 kg of e-waste to Poornam Eco-vision Foundation which is an authorised e-waste collection organization. Poornam Eco-vision Foundation is working extensively in collection of E-waste, plastic waste and plastic toys from residential colonies and institutions in and around Pune for years. They assess and separate the e-waste’s working parts and put them back in use. The remaining scrap is sent to authorized recyclers and re-processors for metal extraction.
