Sustainability Initiatives, Pune started a mobile library for the children of the deprived schools through the Prarthna Foundation Solapur.
Today, many children are seen begging on the streets after leaving education, some children are not able to get education because they don’t get proper guidance, some children migrate with their parents to fill their stomachs, they leave education and wander, they put lizards on things…. That’s it The project is run through the Prarthana Foundation to bring beggars, deprived, helpless children into the mainstream of education and society, the school of the deprived-one step towards progress. This project is run for about 300 children in various parts of Solapur city.
Sustainability Initiatives, Pune started a library with a set of Pratham Books in order to make these children love reading, to make children available for reading and appropriate books. The moving library was inaugurated by Amol Umbarje of Sustainability Initiatives, Pune.
This mobile library will be used to create a reading lap for other deprived helpless beggars, migrant children in the city.
