World Environment Day and World Bicycle Day were both celebrated on 4th June 2023 under ISHRAE Pune chapter in association with Sustainability Initiatives (SI), World on Wheels , FSAI, SI, RATA and other Organizations by the citizens of the city to spread awareness about Environment Protection and pollution free India. The cycle rally was organised for15 Kms that covered a major part of Pune City. World Fastest Cyclist and Guinness Record Holder Preeti Mhaske was the Brand Ambassador for this cycle rally. Dr Mallinaath Kalashetti- Senior IAS officer, Dy. Director General of YASHADA & Mr Sachin Ithape Dy. Commissioner of Pune Municipal Corporation were the Chief Guests and Dr. Surendra Patil founder of Polaris Hospital was Distinguished Guest. Vimal Chavda President RATA Pune, Nitin Joshi President FSAI Pune, Virendra Borade ISHRAE and Amol Umbarje from SI and various cyclist groups participated in this cycle rally. Sustainability Initiatives is proud to have been a supporting organisation for the event.
