SI and VK:e environmental had a wonderful opportunity to partner with CapitaLand Hope Foundation for their Green Month initiative under Hope School Program at Jilha Parishad Primary School in Bhoirwadi, Pune on 30th June 2023.
SI had organized a stress busting session for the employees of VK group on the topic Pranayam and sitting positions.
The Pune Municipal Corporation (PMC) has taken third place in the ‘Majhi Vasundhara 3.0’ initiative, a state-level competition organized by the Environment and Climate Change Department of the Government of Maharashtra for environmental awareness.
World Environment Day and World Bicycle Day were both celebrated on 4th June 2023 under ISHRAE Pune chapter in association with Sustainability Initiatives (SI), World on Wheels , FSAI, SI, RATA and other Organizations by the citizens of the city to spread awareness about Environment Protection and pollution free India.
The entire staff of VK group participated in the event! The idea behind it was to promote hands-on repurposing practices. We got to see some brilliant ideas put in form and function and we were delighted with the enthusiasm shown by the staff!

We are delighted to share that Pune Municipal Corporation has been awarded IGBC Platinum Certificate under the IGBC Green Existing Cities Rating Program.
Amol Umbarje of Sustainability Initiatives was honored as 'Environmental Ambassador' by Dr Iraq Bharucha and Pune Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Mr. Madhav Jagtap under Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan of Environment Department of Maharashtra Government for his substantial work in environment conservation through VK Group and Sustainability Initiatives.
SI organized an awareness seminar on Earthquake Safety for VK Group employees on 16th March, in association with Walter P Moore Leading diagnostics engineering division.
