At SI, we practice Earth Hours, wherein we switch off our office’s lights, AC, fans, coffee machines and printers. Computers and servers are kept running as that’s essential for our line of work.

You can observe the savings that a mere hour can achieve with respect to energy and money. In past year, she shifted our office and moved into a bigger space. Bigger space equals to additional savings as seen in the chart. We encourage citizens to practice Earth Hours at your homes and offices. Collective efforts can make significant differences. From April 2024 to Oct 2025 we have saved 365 kwh units. Also we have saved 1090 kwh units of electricity (87 Hours) till date which is equivalent to 297 liters of diesel saved.
