Energy Audit on the occasion of World Environment Day_2017
World Environment Day is celebrated every year all over the world on 5th of June. This year Sustainability Initiatives Trust along with VK:e environmental, celebrated this day by taking an initiative to conduct an Energy Audit at Warje – Karve nagar Ward office of Pune Municipal Corporation.
Energy is one of the major inputs required for the economic development of a developing country like ours. Saving one unit of electricity means saving two units of at the generation plant, considering all losses. Hence it is of utmost importance to save energy top the best possible extent.
The audit was conducted under guidance of Certified Energy Auditor, with the help of Volunteers.
The motive of the initiative is to create more awareness and demonstrate the benefits of energy auditing and energy conservation on occasion of World Environment Day 2017
