Sustainability Initiatives proudly partnered with India Kawasaki Motors Pvt. Ltd. under the CSR Project 2025–2026 to implement a large-scale roadside plantation initiative aimed at strengthening urban environmental sustainability in Pune.

The plantation project was carried out along the Bhakti Shakti Chowk – Mukai Chowk corridor, a rapidly developing urban stretch facing increasing traffic movement, dust pollution, and declining green cover. The initiative transformed underutilized road dividers into thriving green corridors that contribute to cleaner air, enhanced biodiversity, and improved urban aesthetics.

Focused on strengthening urban green infrastructure, the project supported dust reduction, environmental improvement, and ecological balance through the plantation of flowering and climate-resilient shrub species. Approximately 49,617 shrubs were planted across a continuous 2.5 km green divider corridor, revitalizing previously neglected spaces while creating improved habitats for butterflies, insects, and small urban fauna.
