Sustainability Initiatives (SI) participated in the Rotary Green Expo 2026, organized by Rotary District 3131 and held from 28th February to 1st March 2026 at Sambhaji Garden, Pune. The Expo served as a dynamic platform bringing together innovators, entrepreneurs, organizations, and sustainability advocates working towards environmentally responsible solutions.

At Stall No. B29, SI showcased two of its key initiatives — The Earth Center and Pre-Loved EcoHaatt. These initiatives highlight the importance of sustainable living, circular economy practices, and community-driven environmental action. Through interactive discussions and displays, visitors were introduced to the concept of reusing resources, reducing waste, and promoting environmentally conscious lifestyles.

The Earth Center focuses on environmental awareness, education, and sustainable practices, encouraging communities to adopt responsible environmental behaviors. Meanwhile, Pre-Loved EcoHaatt promotes circular consumption by encouraging the reuse and exchange of quality pre-loved items, thereby reducing waste and supporting sustainable consumption patterns.

The Expo provided SI with an excellent opportunity to interact with diverse stakeholders including innovators, entrepreneurs, sustainability professionals, students, and environmentally conscious citizens. These conversations opened avenues for knowledge exchange and potential collaborations aimed at strengthening sustainability initiatives at both community and institutional levels.

A memorable highlight of the event was the interaction with Rajendra Singh, widely known as the “Water Man of India.” During his visit, he appreciated the initiatives showcased by SI and encouraged continued efforts toward environmental conservation and sustainable development.
