On the occasion of its 52nd Foundation Day, VK Group, a leading multi-disciplinary consultancy firm in the city, demonstrated its deep sense of social responsibility by organizing a remarkable blood donation camp. Initiated by VK Group’s ‘Sustainability Initiatives Trust’ and in collaboration with Dinanath Mangeshkar Blood Bank, the drive was held at the company’s head office on Senapati Bapat Road.

A total of 161 individuals underwent preliminary health screening, out of which 116 volunteers successfully donated blood -showcasing their dedication and spirit of service to society.

Not only VK Group employees, but employees from partner organizations like EbixCash, Bahirat Realty, ONIT, High Garden, Prachay Capital, and Genesys Technologies actively participated in the initiative. Through this, the celebration of the Foundation Day was transformed into a meaningful act of community service, underlining the company’s commitment to social causes.

The blood donation camp was inaugurated in the presence of several dignitaries including VK Group Founder Vishwas Kulkarni, Director Anagha Paranjape-Purohit, Meghana Pingle, Sustainability Initiatives’ Amol Umbarje, and representatives from Dinanath Mangeshkar Blood Bank – Dr. Laxman Ugade, Aniket Patil, and Akshay Agam. They warmly welcomed the donors and appreciated their valuable contribution.

Apoorva Kulkarni shared her thoughts, stating, “Blood cannot be manufactured in any hospital. That is why blood donation is the highest form of human service. A drop of blood in a crisis can save a life. VK Group continues this initiative every year as a part of our social responsibility.”

Through the Sustainability Initiatives Trust, VK Group remains actively engaged in areas like environmental protection, energy-efficient technology, sustainable urban planning, and public awareness campaigns.
