IGBC Pune Chapter, Sustainability Initiatives and VK:e environmental had organized a green expedition visit to Enpro Industries Headquarters, Pimpri which is certified green building project for the students of BKPS College of Architecture, Pune to mark the beginning of the World Green Building Week.

The students were given a tour of the building by the consulting expert. The expert elaborated on the various sustainable architecture principles on which the building was designed and green features implemented  on site to achieve the targeted rating. Environment conservation measures like landscape design, rain water harvesting, energy efficient lighting, HVAC system, strategies for water use reduction were explained in detail.

We would also like to thank Mr. Vilas Phalke from Enpro Industries Headquarters for assisting us throughout the visit. Around 40 students from BKPS College of Architecture attended the visit.
