Amol Umbarje of Sustainability Initiatives was honored as ‘Environmental Ambassador’ by Dr Iraq Bharucha and Pune Municipal Corporation Deputy Commissioner Mr. Madhav Jagtap under Majhi Vasundhara Abhiyan of Environment Department of Maharashtra Government for his substantial work in environment conservation through VK Group and Sustainability Initiatives.
Sustainability Initiatives (SI) was founded 12 years ago by like-minded experts from the diverse fields of urban and environmental planning, architecture, environment, science, geography and energy. Amol Umbarje contributes to the work of the organization and environmental work is going on in entire Maharashtra including Pune. He is also actively involved in many environmental and social activities.
