Sustainability Initiatives had arranged a Green Building Site visit for architecture students of PVP College of Architecture, Pune and architecture interns of VK group. Students visited 2 platinum rated green buildings with different typologies i.e. one commercial building – Amar Sadanand Tech Park (ASTP) Baner and one residential building Surhud Society Erandwane on 13th August 2022. Mr. Gaurav Patil – Project Manager at Amar Builders and Mr. Ganesh Jadhav – Partner at Gangotree Homes were the experts representing these two buildings respectively.

During the visit students were explained the sustainable architecture principles on which the building is built by the architect. Different green initiatives like environmental services installed for the project, like organic waste converter, renewable energy systems, rainwater harvesting techniques and energy and water monitoring systems that are integrated in green building projects were shown and explained by the experts.
