IGBC Pune and CREDAI conducted a brainstorming session to help make Pune a Sustainable and Green City. They have decided to work together to create a core committee to come up with ideas, initiatives, and activities that can be implemented for sustainable development in the city as they envision a greener future for Pune. These ideas can further function as guidelines for a green city tool kit in conjunction with PMC. The session focused on what going green can do for industries & organizations and the success stories of addressing long-term global environmental issues through sustainable development.
Our Trustee, Dr Poorva Keskar presented the part about Green Initiatives. Mr Satish Magar, MD Magarpatta Township, Mr Pradeep Bhargava, Chairman, Greenco Council, CII, Mr JP Shroff, Chairman IGBC Pune, Dr Poorva Keskar, Co-Chair IGBC Pune and Mr Mangesh Dighe, Environment Officer, PMC Pune were the dignitaries present for the session. Mr Amol Umbarje was present on the behalf of Sustainability Initiatives, Pune.
