SI was given a mandate by MNRE to conduct an awareness program on Renewable Energy. This one day seminar conducted in Aurangabad on 31st October at Hotel Atithi. The seminar received a good response from over 60 participants from the field of engineering, architecture, urban planning, real estate and academicians.
This seminar gave an insight into various available renewable energy technologies, different systems for making energy efficient buildings and policy and financial incentives available for its installation.
The seminar was supported by Aurangabad Municipal Corporations.
The topics mainly covered aspects about solar, solar and wind hybrid systems, biofuels in transport sector, waste to energy, renewable energies for green buildings, and scope of fuel cells. Ar. Poorva Keskar, Ar. Hrishikesh Kulkarni, Mr. Amar Chakradeo, Mr. Shyam Dande, Mr.Pranay Kosambia, Mr. Neeraj Kothari and Mr. Sanjay Nandre representing reputed organisations like Vk:e environmental, Vk:a architecture, h2e power systems, Apar Urja, Orange County were the speakers for this seminar.
