Sustainability Initiatives donated 2 Pratham book sets to Mensa for Tribal Mensa Nurturing Program’s satellite centers for underprivileged gifted and kids in rural areas of Maharashtra. The collection of books will be useful to all such students and the students will also get benefited after reading these books.
On the occasion of this proud event, Maharashtra Government had appealed to all the citizen to stand and sing the national anthem with whole heart wherever they are!
Students visited 2 platinum rated green buildings with different typologies i.e. one commercial building - Amar Sadanand Tech Park (ASTP) Baner and one residential building Surhud Society Erandwane on 13th August 2022.
At Sustainability Initiatives office, we tend to generate a sufficient amount of e-waste owing to the devices and gadgets we require in our office. We ensure the timely repair of electronic devices to increase their usability life. However, once they completely run out of function, we discard them and donate them as e-waste (i.e. LCD screens / TVs, keyboards, mouse, adapters, power cables, CPUs, telephones, graphic cards, ram etc) to get it recycled.
A tree plantation drive was organised by Forest Department in association with Sustainability Initiatives and VK Group on 30th July where 86 volunteers from different organizations participated and planted 161 trees on Mhatoba Tekdi, Pune.
