At Sustainability Initiatives office, we tend to generate a sufficient amount of e-waste owing to the devices and gadgets we require in our office. We ensure the timely repair of electronic devices to increase their usability life. However, once they completely run out of function, we discard them and donate them as e-waste (i.e. LCD screens / TVs, keyboards, mouse, adapters, power cables, CPUs, telephones, graphic cards, ram etc) to get it recycled.
A tree plantation drive was organised by Forest Department in association with Sustainability Initiatives and VK Group on 30th July where 86 volunteers from different organizations participated and planted 161 trees on Mhatoba Tekdi, Pune.
