The Big Green Fest 2026 was held on 17–18 January at Kalagram, Pu. La. Deshpande Garden, Pune, organized by Pune Climate Warriors and Pune Municipal Corporation. The fest brought together private organizations, schools, colleges, and the Forest Department to promote collective action towards a greener future through workshops, interactive sessions, eco-friendly stalls, and cultural programs.
SI was a key participant in the exhibition, displaying their impressive 3D models of the Earth Center and a waste management unit that serves approximately 10,000 households. SI also highlighted its diverse initiatives such as tree plantation drives, blood donation campaigns, green school projects, and a nala restoration project.
Sustainability Initiatives and VK:e Environmental organized a Green Building site visit to Pandit Javdekar’s Clover project in Kothrud for the architecture interns of the VK Group, Pune.
The SI Foundation Day celebration held on 21st November 2025 brought together meaningful insights, inspiring discussions, and collaborative ideas for the future of SI.
Sustainability Initiatives organized two Eco-Friendly Ganesh Idol Making Workshops for the enthusiastic teams of VK Group, with the enthusiastic participation of 50+ employees.
Initiated by VK Group’s ‘Sustainability Initiatives Trust’ and in collaboration with Dinanath Mangeshkar Blood Bank, the drive was held at the company’s head office on Senapati Bapat Road.
